How to Book

Online booking

To book online, follow the simple steps below:

  • Find the holiday and departure you want to book on this website. You can use the search facility or just browse through the menus and links.
  • Click the button next to your chosen departure
  • Log in (or register if it is your first time) and fill out your details
  • You will be contacted by telephone or e-mail for your payment details before confirming your holiday

If there are spaces on your chosen departure, we will hold an option for you for 5 days. In this time, we need to receive a completed booking form along with payment details for your deposit or full balance as necessary. Blank booking forms are available in the back of the brochure, or via the link below.

What happens once I’ve booked?

When we have received your deposit and booking form, a ‘Confirmation of Booking’ invoice and insurance certificate (if purchasing Ramblers Worldwide Holidays insurance), together with a General Information Booklet and Holiday Information Sheet relating to your holiday will be sent to you.

The final payment amount and its due date will be shown on your invoice. In the unusual event that a later surcharge is applicable to your holiday, an amended invoice will be sent to you no later than ten weeks prior to departure. As we do not usually issue receipts, please advise us if you require one.

Should there be any significant changes to your holiday from the advertised arrangements, we will advise you either upon booking or as soon as possible thereafter.

Deposits

We have a holiday deposit structure: per person deposits for short haul holidays are £100 whilst long haul and cruise & walk holidays are now £150.

Payments

Because of the fee applied by credit card companies, we add a charge of up to 1.75% to all payments (except deposits) when paid using Visa or MasterCard.

Consumer protection

The air holiday packages shown are ATOL Protected, since we hold an Air Travel Organiser’s Licence granted by the Civil Aviation Authority. Out ATOL number is ATOL0990. Please see out booking conditions for more information. ATOL protection extends primarily to customers who book and pay in the United Kingdom. Ramblers Holidays Ltd is a member of ABTA with membership number V5094. ABTA and ABTA members help holidaymakers to get the most from their travel and assist them when things do not go according to plan. We are obliged to maintain a high standard of service to you by ABTAs Code of Conduct. AITO

 

Ramblers Worldwide Holidays is also a member of the Association of Independent Tour Operators. AITO represents some of Britain's best specialist tour operators and members are independent companies, most of them owner-managed, specialising in particular destinations or types of holidays.

Changes to your holiday

Do be aware that itineraries planned for some holidays and treks may be changed on the spot because of unexpected events. The final decision for any changes rests with your leader. Ramblers Worldwide Holidays cannot be held responsible for disruption to planned itineraries arising from weather conditions or situations beyond our control such as earthquakes or political unrest. Every effort will be made to provide alternative activities and to ensure that you have the best holiday possible.
