Single Traveller

Ramblers Worldwide Holidays are renowned for being friendly, fun experiences, and our small groups frequently include a significant number of single travellers.  You will be made welcome among people with similar interests as you, and all with a passion for walking and outdoor life.

Many people return year after year with friends they have made on previous holidays – clearly a strong recommendation in itself!

Single supplements and room options

The hotels and other types of lodging we use do charge single supplements, as they are usually small establishments seeking to fill all beds. If you would particularly like a single room, subject to availability, we may be able to arrange one at the supplement indicated or arrange for a twin room to be allocated for sole use. This supplement guarantees privacy only, so please be aware that the room may be inferior in quality, size or outlook.

However, travelling alone doesn’t necessarily mean you have to pay a single supplement. If you’re willing to share a twin room with another group member, of the same sex, we can accommodate this on most holidays - simply talk to our Reservations Team when booking.  Please note that when booking to share, you are agreeing to a no-smoking policy and reasonable norms of behaviour.  If we are unable to find you a sharer, we reserve the right to allocate you a single room at no additional charge to you.
